THE ANNUAL $10,000 COMMUNITY CHALLENGE FOR YOUTH IMPACT
The Squamish Youth Council invites Squamish-based not-for-profit entities to propose up events, programming and/or initiatives that will have a positive and measurable benefit for youth.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Successful recipient programs will:
- Have demonstrable positive impact for youth 14-24 years old
- Promote a healthy, caring, safe and supportive community for target audience
- Demonstrate innovation in community partnerships and leveraging of resources
- Demonstrate opportunities for youth involvement or input at design or execution level
- Be an event, program or initiative as long as it’s NEW (not already part of an operational plan)
- Creative in approach, design and delivery
- Likelihood of successful implementation in 2024
- Budget detail
- Project would be able to start (planning phase) by later April
The application deadline is February 29, 2024.
