Update Your Business License

Business licences are non-transferrable. If you change the business name, the square footage, or move your business, please update your business licence details using the Update to business details form. If your business is closing or no longer doing business in the District of Squamish please complete the business licence cancellation form. There is no fee required to update or cancel your business licence. These can be submitted in person, via email or mail (see below for contact details).

A change in business ownership, requires a new business licence application and a new fee payment.

Don't forget to also update your business information annually, using the Business Information Data Collection form. Updating your business data provides Economic Development with valuable information to inform local business programs and services as well as informing policy decisions.

‘Update to business details’ and ‘Cancellation’ forms must be signed and are accepted in person, or via mail or email.
