Remembrance Day Ceremony

We invite the Squamish community to join the Squamish Legion for a collective moment of silence to Remember in Place those who served.

People are welcome to pay their respects in person around the outer perimeter of the cenotaph, or at other times throughout the day to place a poppy or to take time to reflect and remember. 

A moment of silence will be observed at 11 a.m. 

10:45 a.m. - Arrival of Marching contingents and Colour Party
10:55 a.m. - Ceremony starts
10:57 a.m. - O Canada. Last Post
11:00 a.m. - Two Minutes of Silence
11:20 a.m. - Ceremony ends
12:00 p.m. - Squamish Legion #277 Remembrance Day Social
