The Province of BC's Wildfire Management Branch website provides the most up-to-date information on wildfires of note burning in British Columbia, including the wildfires that are contributing to smoky conditions and deteriorating air quality in Squamish.

Squamish is located within the Coastal Fire Centre, and is being affected most notably by two fires - the Elaho fire, 67 kilometres west of Pemberton, and the Boulder Creek fire burning approximately 23 kilometres northwest of Pemberton Meadows.
