District of Squamish moves to Stage 3 water restrictions

The District of Squamish is moving to Stage 3 water restrictions due to high water consumption and flow capacity concerns brought on by the current heat wave. Stage 3 restrictions are expected to remain in effect until temperatures begin to drop.

During Stage 3 sprinkler watering is not permitted at any time.

Residents are being urged to conserve water where possible and adhere to the Stage 3 outdoor water use bylaw restrictions to ensure adequate water volumes are available in our reservoirs to provide fire protection should it be required.
