Downtown early morning cleanup to take place this week

Long weekend Downtown #Squamish cleanup is upon us! District of Squamish Public Works crews will be downtown Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18 prepping for the long weekend.

The crews must get an early start to sweep streets and get a head start on their work prior to business traffic arriving. We apologize in advance for any early morning noise. Crews will start at 7 a.m. on Thursday and 4 a.m. on Friday.

Please note that the District is exempt from working within the hours of the Noise Bylaw when necessary. This early morning work can be expected prior to each long weekend through Labour Day. May we suggest that you plan ahead if you're a light sleeper and grab some earplugs if you live in the Cleveland/Second Avenue vicinity.
