Special weather statement in effect for Howe Sound

More snow, strong outflow winds and cold wind chill values are to be expected according to the latest Special Weather Statement for Howe Sound.
 
Cold arctic air will continue today producing northeast winds of 40 to 60 km/h with gusts as high as 90. The strong winds combined with cold temperatures will generate wind chill values of -20 or lower.
 
Be prepared for unusually cold temperatures and strong winds, and ensure that shelter is provided for pets and outdoor animals.
