BC Wildfire Service responding to fire 13 kilometres east of Squamish

The BC Wildfire Service is responding to a forest fire approximately 13 kilometres along the Mamquam Forest Service Road. The interactive map pictured below can be viewed from the BC Fire Info website, under the Coastal Fire Centre section. The current size as recorded Sunday evening is two hectares. This fire is outside the District of Squamish jurisdiction, but Squamish Fire Rescue is being kept apprised of the situation. Stay tuned to the BC Fire Info website for confirmed details.
