Emergency sewer repairs on Main Street beginning January 14

The District of Squamish Utilities Department will be completing an emergency sanitary sewer repair on Main Street this weekend from approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, January 14 through Sunday morning, January 15.

District crews will be pumping and hauling overnight due to low diurnal sanitary flows that occur in this time period. Residents at the west end of Main Street will experience elevated noise levels related to the work. It is suggested that light sleepers consider noise-reduction devices (earplugs, white noise machines etc.).
