Gas pricing in Squamish to be looked at by province

The District of Squamish is very pleased to see this positive action by the BC Utilities Commission (BCUC) today to address the consistently high prices of gasoline at Squamish gas pumps. The community has spoken up loudly and repeatedly to express frustration and to appeal for fair pricing consistent with other communities. The District has added its own voice to the public appeals to the BCUC and it is encouraging to see that our collective voices have been heard.  

We share in the perspective of Minister Bruce Ralston, Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources: people deserve transparency and fairness when it comes to gasoline prices.
