Annual Watermain Flushing

Watermain flushing will take place beginning October 2 through early December. This year, crews will focus on flushing in the Dentville, Industrial Park and North Yard areas. 

Dead end flushing, which removes any stagnant water and unwanted build up in the pipes, will take place throughout Squamish from Valleycliffe to Brackendale.

During flushing, there may be brief periods when the water becomes cloudy, discoloured or have a mild chlorine taste, however the water remains safe to drink.
