How it works:
- The District of Squamish will supply gloves, garbage bags and a tipping fee waiver for all registered cleanup events.
- After the clean up, full bags can be dropped off at the Squamish Landfill, free of charge. The tipping fee waiver must be presented at the landfill scale hut and is only valid the week of the event.
- The District recommends sorting bottles and cans. These can be brought to the Bottle Depot or deposited in the appropriate bin at the Landfill.
- Electronics such as televisions, peripherals and cords can be brought to the Squamish Bottle Depot to be recycled for free.
