Noise Bylaw Exemption Permit Application

In accordance with the District of Squamish Noise Regulation Bylaw No. 2312, 2014, 
the District may grant a temporary noise exemption for construction noise, filming activities and events.

A complete application must be submitted in advance of the proposed activity:

  • (a) for activity lasting no longer than one day, at least four (4) business days prior to the proposed date of the activity;
    And
  • (b) for activity lasting longer than one day, at least seven (7) business days prior to the proposed commencement of the activity.


Fees:
$50 – 1 day exemption
$100 – 2 to 5 days' exemption
$200 – over 5 days' exemption

The information collected will be retained and disposed according to the District of Squamish Records Management Bylaw No. 2622, 2019 and the District of Squamish Records Classification and Retention Schedule.
