In accordance with the District of Squamish Noise Regulation Bylaw No. 2312, 2014,
the District may grant a temporary noise exemption for construction noise, filming activities and events.
View the bylaw for allowable noise activities, days and times, and exemption requirements.
A complete application must be submitted in advance of the proposed activity:
Fees:
$50 – 1 day exemption
$100 – 2 to 5 days' exemption
$200 – over 5 days' exemption

Objective is to collect business information, should personal information be provided through this noise exemption permit application it will only be used for the purpose of processing a noise exemption permit. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The information collected will be retained and disposed according to the District of Squamish Records Management Bylaw No. 2622, 2019 and the District of Squamish Records Classification and Retention Schedule.
