2018 Budget icon

The 2018 municipal budget process kicked off November 14, as Council reviewed the proposed Utility funds operating and capital plans (Sewer, Water and Solid Waste). Discussions continue through December/January as Council reviews the General Fund. Read on for ways to get involved in the budget process.

Check out our new interactive tool that allows you to explore total expenditures in each of the District's budget areas and departments.

  

 It also includes proposed capital projects, special projects and service level changes for 2018. Council is currently deliberating these proposed expenditures through a series of workshops, and is looking for your input. Check out where revenue is proposed to be spent in 2018, and let us know what you think. Comments can be emailed here or posted on our budget page.
