Engineering Technician Coordinator
The District is hiring multiple Engineering Technician Coordinators to perform technical work with a focus on supporting either Capital, Development, Infrastructure Planning or Transportation areas of the District's Engineering department. If you have a Technical School Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology, Member of (or be eligible for membership) with the ASTTBC or Planning Institute of BC and ideally 8 years of related experience as an Engineering Technician, we want to hear from you!

Environmental Specialist - Regular Full-Time

We are seeking a Regular Full-Time SCADA Electrician to install, program, maintain and troubleshoot Electrical and SCADA systems and network communications equipment for the District. Utilities Operator In-Training (OIT) (multiple positions) - Temporary Full-Time
The District is hiring multiple Utilities Operators In-Training to assist with the operation and maintenance of the Water Supply & Distribution System, Wastewater Collection System and Wastewater Treatment Plant. If you have a valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with safe driving record, Certified Traffic Control Person, Confined Space Awareness, WHMIS and 2 years' experience in labouring work, this may be the opportunity for you! Corporate Energy Specialist - Regular Full-Time
The District is hiring a Corporate Energy Specialist to be part of our Sustainability team! The successful candidate will identify and implement low carbon energy initiatives in line with Squamish’s Municipal Energy and Emissions Plan (MEEP) and Community Climate Action Plan (CCAP). The position will focus on municipal (corporate) actions related new buildings, existing buildings and transportation. Part of the role will be identifying opportunities, applying for funding and building support for projects. We are looking for an energetic team player who takes initiative, builds relationships and can overcome obstacles to realize results.
