In this role, you will review land development applications and check for compliance against the District's Subdivision and Development Control Bylaw and MMCD specifications. Engineering Technician Coordinator
The District is hiring multiple Engineering Technician Coordinators to perform technical work with a focus on supporting either Capital, Development, Infrastructure Planning or Transportation areas of the District's Engineering department. If you have a Technical School Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology, Member of (or be eligible for membership) with the ASTTBC or Planning Institute of BC and ideally 8 years of related experience as an Engineering Technician, we want to hear from you!

The Project Engineer 2 is responsible for engineering reviews related to industrial development and civil infrastructure projects comprising the Major Projects – Industrial portfolio. The department is responsible for local government regulatory oversight of the Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC Eagle Mountain Pipeline projects. As the Project Engineer 2 for the team, you will be responsible for liaising with internal team members, project proponents, third party consultants and project regulators to ensure regulatory compliance of associated project permits and associated management plans against local bylaws, engineering specifications, and best practices. Project Engineer 3 - Development -Temporary Full-Time
The Project Engineer 3 is responsible for coordinating and performing engineering, technical and administrative work related to the completion of a variety of engineering activities related to industrial development and civil infrastructure projects comprising the Major Projects – Industrial portfolio. The department is responsible for local government regulatory oversight of the Woodfibre LNG and FortisBC Eagle Mountain Pipeline projects, systems, programs, and projects. Specifically, the Project Engineer 3 works as a member of the MPI team and duties vary according to work assignment focusing on land development application design reviews against District bylaws and engineering specifications and delivering engineering projects that support the department's policy initiatives.
