Rain, at times heavy, is expected for Howe Sound, according to the latest Environment Canada weather alert.
A developing Pacific frontal system will spread rain into the Lower Mainland late Thursday afternoon. The rain will become heavy overnight and then end early Friday morning as the system moves out of the region.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to BCstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #BCStorm.
