Agreement reached in Sea-to-Sky region

BC Transit has announced it is pleased an agreement between Unifor Local 114 and Whistler Transit Ltd. and Diversified Transportation, with the assistance of specially appointed mediator Vince Ready, was ratified in a vote today by union members and accepted by the Operating Company.  

BC Transit continues to work with the Operating Company on a safe return to service date and will update everyone as soon possible. BC Transit and its local government partners are also working on a promotion to welcome riders back on board, with more details coming soon. BC Transit understands the impact this labour dispute has had on the communities and its customers, and sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience.
