The District of Squamish welcomes new Quest University Canada president

The District wishes to congratulate new Quest University Canada interim President Marjorie Wonham.

“We have long valued our partnership with Quest University since the vision for the institution was first brought forward by the late Dr. David Strangway, and we wish Ms. Wonham every success in her new role,” says District of Squamish Mayor Patricia Heintzman. “Quest University is an incredibly valuable part of our community's cultural fabric, a significant employer and a key driver of our diversifying economy."

The District also congratulates the graduating students of 2017 and thanks them for not only calling Squamish their home for the past four years, but also for sharing their youthful energy, creativity and inquisitive minds.

“Students challenge us all to be better and have their eyes firmly focused on the future,” continues Heintzman. “We’re proud to be their backdrop for higher learning, and we look forward to welcoming the class of 2021 this fall.”
