Overnight Lane Closures on Cleveland Avenue March 3 to 7

This week, Public Works will remove the landscaping on the traffic island located along Cleveland Avenue at Highway 99. Traffic back-up concerns, particularly from the highway, has made it no longer feasible to close a lane of traffic at this busy intersection to allow for seasonal maintenance of the landscaping. Vegetation will be removed and replaced with compacted gravel for this season. The basalt columns will be remaining. 

This week’s work will result in lane closures along Cleveland Avenue to allow Public Works to safely complete this work. While disruptions to the public will be minimal as the work will take place overnight, we ask residents to remain aware of Public Works crews and to follow all signage and lane closures.
