Skateboard Bowl Public Information Meeting

The group proposing to build a skateboard bowl under Quest University Bridge is holding a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed project, at the request of the District. The meeting will take place Wednesday, February 12 from 7pm-9pm at the Howe Sound Inn & Brewing Co., Garibaldi Room. A formal presentation at 7:30pm will present details of the application and proposed project, receive input from members of the community, and respond to questions.  

Information packages have been delivered to residents living with 100 metres of the property and are available to all upon request. To request a package, please contact Development Services at 604.815.5002..

This is not a Public Hearing. Council will receive a report from staff relating to issues raised at the meeting and will formally consider the application at a later date.

Project summary:

The proposed concrete skateboard bowl, located beneath the Quest University Bridge, will be approximately 990 square feet (45x22 feet).
