Overview
Sanitary sewer and storm system repair work will take place in various locations using both excavated and trenchless repair styles.
Impacts
Excavated: Expect single lane alternating traffic and some parking disruptions.
Trenchless: A chemical smell is emitted from the repair resin product. The chemical is not harmful and is detectable to humans at 0.1 parts per mission (extremely low). See the Safety Data Sheet for more information. Residents may notice the odor in the general area around the work zone or in their home if they have an existing plumbing problem such as a dry pea trap or vent issue. Notices will be sent out to residents in work area providing advance notice and steps to take if any odor is detected in their home. There may also be traffic impacts, including parking.
Work will take place from 7 am to 6 pm. Signage and traffic control personnel will be on site.
If an interruption is expected to sanitary, affected residents will be notified 48 hours in advance.
