Watermain flushing will take place beginning March 17. This year, crews will begin in the Downtown and Dentville area.
Dead end flushing, which removes any stagnant water and unwanted build up in the pipes, will take place throughout Squamish in the fall.
Impact: During flushing, there may be brief periods when the water becomes cloudy, discoloured or have a mild chlorine taste, however the water remains safe to drink. If you experience these, please flush your taps by running water until clear.
Timeframe: Through mid-November.
