Squamish Housing Action Plan Updating Residential Zoning - In-Person Open House

Learn more about how the District is proposing to update residential zoning to align with provincial legislation and the Squamish Housing Action Plan.

Staff will be available to answer questions in advance of Council consideration of these bylaw changes.

These changes will:

• Increase flexibility through zoning changes.
• Increase the permitted number of dwelling units on a lot from three to four.
• Permit a wider array of housing types, increase the potential range of siting options, and reduce required parking.

Staff are recommending changes that align with provincial policy guidance.
