What's Proposed?

This proposed Temporary Use Permit (TUP)  is for an additional 46 restaurant seats at Backcountry Brewing for the purpose of 14 temporary evening events over 8 weekends over the course of a year. The property is zoned Specialized Industrial Business (I-8) and located at 1201 Commercial Way. The TUP proposal, if approved, would allow the use for a period of up to 1 year.

A copy of the proposed Temporary Use Permit and related information that will be considered by Council can be inspected at Municipal Hall, 37955 Second Avenue, Squamish, British Columbia, from Friday April 26, 2019 to Tuesday May 7, 2019 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Thursday inclusive, and between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, excluding statutory holidays. Enquiries regarding the proposed amendment bylaw may be made to the Planning Department at 604.815.5002.

Persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw will have an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions at the Hearing or, if unable to attend, may deliver a written submission to hearing@squamish.ca or in person to the General Manager of Corporate Services by 4:00 p.m. on the date of the Hearing.

All submissions will form part of the public record.
