Squamish 2022 General Election Unofficial Results

(October 15, 2022) The unofficial results of the 2022 Squamish General Election have been posted, pending final determination of election results later this week by the Chief Election Officer.

Squamish voters elected six Councillors and one Mayor.

A total of 6,718 ballots were cast, resulting in a voter turnout of 41.12%, once all new registrations were factored in. The total number of registered Eligible Electors was 16,337.

In 2018, a total of 7,024 ballots were cast, resulting in a voter turnout of 47.8%, once all new registrations were factored in. The total number of registered Eligible Electors was 14,695.

The new Council will be sworn in at the inaugural meeting on November 1, 2022.
