The proposed changes to the intersection at Clark, Guilford and Behrner does not make sense with the planned Scott Crescent development on the Blind Channel.

There is going to be 10, 000 Sq ft of commercial space and 500 residential units planned for the development. The only vehicle access will be from Clark Dr. Yes the municipality is going to give the right of way to residents of Valley cliff via Guilford at that intersection. This is ridiculous! Valley cliff has two entrance points off the highway, Valley Dr and Clark Dr. The residents of hospital hill and the hospital and soon to be Scott Crescent only have the one! This makes no sense!

There is a much-needed entrance/merge lane turning from Clark Drive north onto the highway. Will this be added? Also, many drivers come speeding up the highway (not at the posted 60) and it is hard to see them coming in so fast. Is there any chance that permanent cones can be installed (or the lane merges in) south of the intersection on the highway so that incoming highway traffic moves into the left lane, giving the right lane free to people turning north from Clark Drive? This or a merge lane really needs to happen as this is a high accident area (ask ahy fire fighter or police officer in town) . Drivers should move to the left lane in order for traffic to turn on but they cannot see because of the hill, or just don't do it.
