Council invites Squamish residents to connect over coffee and conversation at multiple engagement events

Council will be popping up at various locations next week to connect with residents throughout the community. Council is hosting a Council Coffee Crawl (Wednesday, January 15, multiple times and locations) and a Budget Open House (Thursday, January 16, 4:30 to 7 p.m. at The Ledge Community Coffee House) for residents to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed 2020 Budget and important projects currently underway at the District of Squamish.

“We value face-to-face conversations with community members to hear questions, different perspectives, concerns and ideas, and also to provide context and insights into some of the key decisions being made,” says District of Squamish Mayor Karen Elliott. “We hope to connect with residents, from our youth to our seniors, and local business owners on budget areas and projects that matter to you.”
