District social media channels provide timely updates

The District of Squamish has adopted Facebook and Twitter as two useful channels to keep the community updated with pressing, relevant information, as it happens. The updates provided are typically short bursts of information that help get timely information to citizens, often with a link to the District's website for further information.

Our social media channels are also opportunities for the public to provide feedback to the District in the form of comments, likes, shares, re-tweets or direct messages.
