Escape the heat at public facilities across Squamish
Air-conditioned public facilities are available to support Squamish residents during regular operating hours:
Brennan Park Recreation Centre
- Monday to Friday - 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday - 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 55 Activity Centre
- Sunday/Monday Closed
- Tuesday-Saturday – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Squamish Public Library
- Monday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday to Thursday - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Squamish Transit remains free on the weekends through Labour Day weekend. Hop aboard for a cooling ride to your destination, or even if you just need refuge from the heat.
