Flood Watch issued for Howe Sound and Sea to Sky
A Flood Watch issued by the River Forecast Centre for Howe Sound and Sea to Sky is in effect. The District of Squamish is monitoring the situation and will continue to do so as conditions persist.
The District has determined that the levels and forecast are sufficient to warrant a Squamish Alert.
Please be alert for water pooling on roads and washouts. Stay clear of fast‐flowing creeks and rivers and potentially unstable riverbanks.
The River Forecast Centre continues to monitor the conditions and will provide updates as conditions warrant.
Heavy rain will continue through Monday morning and peak river flows can be expected throughout the day.
