New immigration pilot program aims to stimulate economic growth in Squamish

The province recently announced that Squamish has been selected among 30 communities for a new immigration pilot program to stimulate economic growth in small communities. The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Entrepreneur Regional Pilot aims to attract entrepreneurs worldwide who would like to immigrate to Canada to establish businesses that are aligned with targeted growth sectors for our economy.

The intake process for Squamish PNP site visits is now open to applications for business start-ups in the following sectors:

The District will review up to ten applications monthly in the order which they are received.
