New Squamish Hiring and Retention Guide aims to help Squamish employers attract and retain local talent

The District of Squamish Economic Development Office has launched a new resource to provide an overview of the Squamish workforce and provide practical tools to help local businesses find and retain employees in Squamish. The Squamish Hiring and Retention Guide includes local employment and job posting data to identify and address local hiring challenges.

The interactive, data-packed guide looks at Squamish residents’ commuting patterns by industry, top local jobs posted, compensation data for Squamish, Vancouver and Whistler, and practical recruitment and retention tips for local businesses. Data collection was funded through a grant received from the Province of British Columbia in collaboration with the Squamish Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Squamish.
