Notice of Road Preparation and Paving of Sky Pilot Drive and Crumpit Woods Drive

June 30 - Sweeping

July 2 and 3 - Paving

Alpine Paving will begin paving operations of Phase 2 of Crumpit Woods this Friday, June 26 and continue the following week.

Residents

The contractor will also be preparing to pave the top of Phase 1 (Sky Pilot Drive and Crumpit Woods Drive) on Tuesday June 30. No on-site street parking will be permitted while the work is being performed. As the sweeping process will cause dust and possibly some debris, it is advised not to park in the pull-outs along the street. The best location will be in your garage. It is advised to close the windows in your home that fronts the street.

Two days of paving will take place Thursday, July 2 and Friday July 3 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The road will be closed to all access during this time frame each day. Residents are asked to park their vehicles on Plateau Drive the night before if leaving after 7 a.m. It will not be possible to have private vehicles on the street over these two days of paving operations.

Contractors

Contractors should have all material removed and the street cleaned of any of their gravels and such by the morning of Monday June 29. District of Squamish Engineering and Bylaw Enforcement will be doing an inspection on Monday June 29 to ensure compliance.

There will be" No Parking" on the street for detailed street sweeping Tuesday June 30, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. There may be delays for access as the cleaning progresses. There may also be dust and debris from the sweeping so any vehicles parked in the pull outs are done so at their own risk.

No street parking and no site access will be permitted Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The contractor expects to get the work completed in two days.

Once the tack coat is sprayed on the road surface no vehicles can drive over it. It will track on the vehicles tires and will stain any concrete pull outs or driveways.
