Annual Brennan Park Aquatic Centre maintenance begins September 5

The Brennan Park Recreation Centre pool will be closed for annual maintenance from September 5 through October 6. The fall pool schedule and swim lessons will resume on Sunday, October 7.

The annual pool closure occurs in order to complete preventative maintenance on all areas of the Aquatic Centre including the pools, steam room, hot tub, change rooms and mechanical areas, and to help prevent larger, more costly problems from occurring.

This year's maintenance includes an engineering review of the rope swing and monkey bars, re-grouting of the deep end pool sides and replacement of the cubicles for washrooms and changing areas.
