Queens Way @ Pioneer Street closed due to gas main break

Updated: Queens Way re-opened to traffic at approximately 4 p.m.

A gas main break has resulted in the Queens Way and Pioneer intersection being closed to all traffic. Traffic is being turned around at the intersections of Government/Queens Way and Queens Way/Commercial Way. FortisBC crews are on scene and the closure is expected to be in place for some time. 

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route. We will provide an update on a possible re-opening time once more information is known. Businesses in the neighbouring Industrial Park remain open.
