Snow Update December 30, 2017

9 a.m. - A message from our District of Squamish snow clearing crews: 

• The focus currently remains on Red Routes to widen back for snow storage and drainage. Once that is complete we will begin on secondary routes.
• We understand that some residents may find it difficult to get out of their roads - we are trying to get to the "hill' side roads first and then the flat areas next.
• We also understand that large windrows will be left in driveways but unfortunately, we cannot assist at this time due to the volume of work that needs to be completed.
• Residents could assist us greatly by bringing in your garbage cans, once waste is picked up, wherever possible.
• Calls placed to DOS over the weekend may not be called back, but please be assured your service requests will be added to the work lists. (Call 24-hrs to 604.815.4040).
