Squamish 2022 General Election Final Determination of Results

(October 19, 2022) The District of Squamish determined the final results of the 2022 Squamish General Election at noon on October 18, 2022.

Squamish voters elected six Councillors and one Mayor.

School Trustees

Two School Trustees were acclaimed:

A total of 6,718 ballots were cast, resulting in a voter turnout of 39.73%, once all new registrations were factored in. The total number of registered Eligible Electors in 2022 was 16,910.

In 2018, a total of 7,024 ballots were cast, resulting in a voter turnout of 47.8%, once all new registrations were factored in. The total number of registered Eligible Electors in 2018 was 14,695.

The new Council will be sworn in at their Inaugural Meeting on November 1, 2022.
