Squamish Fire Rescue on scene at Industrial Way

UPDATE: May 3, 2019 at 5:25 p.m.

Squamish Fire Rescue has reported the fire is now in the knock down stage and there is no visible smoke in the area.

Industrial Way has been reopened. Mid Way remains partially closed however there are no hazards at this time.

UPDATE: May 3, 2019, 5:05 p.m.

Squamish Fire Rescue is on scene following a propane tank explosion at 1111 Industrial Way.

The fire is contained however residents are being advised to avoid the area. Traffic is blocked off at Mid Way.

No air quality advisory has been issued for the area.
