Weather Warning issued for Sea to Sky - Squamish to Whistler

A weather warning has been issued for Sea to Sky - #Squamish to Whistler. A strong Pacific frontal system is sweeping over the south coast.

Snow, heavy at times, is occurring over the Sea to Sky Highway and Whistler region. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 cm is expected. The heavy snow is will ease to just scattered flurries mid evening as the frontal system continues to move to the south.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Weather can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Adjust your driving with changing road conditions and use winter tires and chains.
