Change in staff leadership at District of Squamish

The District of Squamish is undergoing a change in its staff leadership. Council has decided to move in a new strategic direction and is in the process of mutually concluding Corien Becker’s employment with the District. Ms. Becker has acted as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) since June 2012. Council thanks Ms. Becker for her service and wishes her well in her future endeavours.

Linda Glenday, currently Deputy CAO, will assume full CAO duties at this time.

“Council has full confidence in the District staff team as we collaboratively chart an exciting future for Squamish,” says District of Squamish Mayor Patricia Heintzman.  “We have a very skilled, strong and dedicated team of employees that will continue to work towards achieving Council and the community’s goals.”
